Sutter Tracy Names Fred Ford Assistant Administrator

TRACY, CA – Sutter Tracy Community Hospital is pleased to announce the promotion of Fred Ford to Assistant Administrator effective January 10. Ford joined Sutter Tracy in 2000 as Director of Business Development and Special Projects.

During the past four and a half years, Ford has taken an active leadership role in the Hospital's $24 million expansion project and the development of the Altamont Medical Plaza. In his new role he oversees seven hospital departments, adding to his responsibilities of business development and special projects.

"Fred has been instrumental in moving the hospital expansion project forward and keeping the hospital running smoothly," said Sutter Tracy CEO Gary Rapaport. "He is an asset to Sutter Tracy and to the community, where he is currently serving as President of the Sunrise Rotary Club."

Prior to joining Sutter Tracy, Ford served as an administrative resident at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. He earned his undergraduate degree in business administration at Virginia Commonwealth University and a master's degree in healthcare administration from the Medical College of Virginia.
